- All SJP personnel, including the Managing Partner, senior partners, employees, agents, contractors, consultants, and representatives

Article I – Scope & Purpose
This policy establishes binding rules governing:

- Professional fees and payment terms
- Refunds and non-refundable services
- Handling, safeguarding, and disbursement of client funds
- Limitations of liability
- Client and personnel responsibilities
- Ethical, professional, and compliance standards

This policy forms an integral part of all client service agreements and internal governance rules of SJP.
Article II – Fees for Services
Upfront Payment Requirement

- All professional fees must be paid in full and in advance before any consultation, assessment, submission, representation, or related work commences.
- No services will begin until cleared funds are received.

Fee Structure
Fees are determined based on:

- Complexity of the matter
- Time, resources, and expertise required
- Regulatory environment and jurisdiction involved

All fees will be confirmed in writing prior to engagement.
Exclusions

- SJP fees do not include government charges, immigration fees, embassy fees, court fees, translations, notarisation, courier services, or third-party costs.
- Clients remain solely responsible for all external or statutory charges.

Acknowledgment
Payment of any fee constitutes:

- Acceptance of this policy
- Acceptance of SJP’s terms of service
- Acknowledgment that SJP provides professional assistance only and does not control government outcomes

Article III – Refunds & Non-Refundable Fees
Strict Non-Refundability
All fees paid to SJP are strictly non-refundable, regardless of:

- Outcome
- Processing delays
- Government refusal or denial
- Change in law or policy
- Client withdrawal or change of circumstances

Discretionary Exception
Any refund, partial or otherwise, may be considered only at the sole and absolute discretion of the Managing Partner.
Any discretionary refund:

- Is final
- Constitutes full and final settlement
- Waives all further claims against SJP

Client Information Accuracy

- Clients are fully responsible for ensuring all information and documents provided are complete, accurate, truthful, and up to date.
- SJP bears no liability for consequences arising from incorrect, incomplete, misleading, or withheld information.

Article IV – Handling of Client Funds
Professional Standards
Client funds are handled in accordance with:

- Applicable laws
- Professional compliance standards
- Internal governance controls

Third-Party Payments
Where SJP holds funds for payment to government bodies or third parties:

- SJP acts solely as a facilitator
- SJP is not responsible for delays, refusals, losses, or policy changes imposed by third parties

Disbursement Rules
Client funds will only be released:

- In accordance with written client instructions, or
- For official and documented purposes

Complete transaction records are maintained for compliance and audit purposes.
Internal Controls

- All personnel handling funds must strictly follow SJP financial protocols.
- Any breach will result in disciplinary action, including termination and potential legal action.

Article V – Limitation of Liability
No Guaranteed Outcomes

- All services are subject to government discretion, legal frameworks, and regulatory approval.
- SJP does not guarantee approvals, reversals, removals, or outcomes of any kind.

Limitation of Claims
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SJP and all associated personnel shall not be liable for:

- Direct or indirect losses
- Consequential or incidental damages
- Financial loss, reputational harm, or business interruption

Third-Party Decisions

- Clients expressly acknowledge that SJP has no control over decisions made by immigration authorities, courts, embassies, or other government entities.

Article VI – Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:

- Provide accurate, complete, and timely information
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Follow official instructions from authorities
- Promptly notify SJP of any changes affecting their case

Failure to comply may result in:

-
- Delays
- Refusal
- Termination of services
- Additional fees

SJP shall bear no liability for consequences arising from non-compliance.
Article VII – Professional Standards & Ethics
Personnel Conduct
All SJP personnel must uphold the highest standards of:

- Professional competence

Conflicts of Interest

- Any actual or potential conflict must be disclosed immediately and managed in accordance with SJP’s ethical framework.

Article VIII – Acceptance & Binding Effect
Client Acceptance

- By engaging SJP, clients confirm they have read, understood, and accepted this policy in full.

Binding Nature
This policy is binding on:

- All clients
- All SJP personnel

It forms part of all service agreements, whether written or electronic.
Article IX – Amendments

- SJP reserves the right to amend this policy at any time.
- Updated versions will be published on the official SJP website.
- Continued engagement after publication constitutes acceptance of the amended policy.

Article X – Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This policy, all fees, payments, and services provided by SJP—regardless of location, currency, or method of payment—are governed exclusively by the laws of England & Wales.
All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
