Founder of SJP – 2002
Simon J. Price is the Founder and Managing Partner of SJP, an internationally respected legal and strategic advisory firm serving expatriates, private individuals, and corporations across multiple jurisdictions.
With over two decades at the helm of SJP and a distinguished career spanning government service and private practice, Simon has earned a reputation as a tactical and results-driven advocate. Recognised for his strategic acumen, discretion, and cross-border expertise, he is widely regarded as the trusted adviser of choice for expatriates, high-net-worth individuals, and multinational businesses navigating complex legal challenges.
Appointed Queen’s Counsel (QC) by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II and now recognised as King’s Counsel (KC), Simon brings the highest standard of advocacy to every matter he undertakes.
Early Life & Education
Born in London in 1966, Simon’s early years were shaped by adversity. Abandoned at the age of nine and raised in an orphanage, he developed the resilience, grit, and self-reliance that continue to underpin his professional and personal ethos.
He read Human Resources Management at Middlesex University, graduating with First-Class Honours, before serving a decade as an Associate with the UK Government, managing immigration operations across China, Vietnam, Australia, and the Philippines.
Driven by a commitment to justice, Simon earned his LLB (First-Class Honours) at the University of Bristol, was Called to the Bar in 2002, and went on to receive the distinction of KC—a recognition of excellence at the very pinnacle of the Bar of England and Wales.
